5.Photo Final destination

Two more weeks and everything will be done. Are you excited Mr.Kennedy? I am sure you are, but let me tell you the truth. I am more. I cannot wait for my holidays. I will leave on 29th of May. That means 14 more days of being here. Oh my god, when I think about it I feel really happy. I mean, it has been nice year here, golf was good, I have improved a lot, my english also get much better, I met many new people, I played some good rounds of golf during the year including 63 on El Con last month, studied well with a good results and many other good things, but believe me, now when the school year is coming to the end I want to leave. Every day here has been the same. In the morning running, then school, then lunch, then golf,then gym, then golf,then homeworks,then go to bed. Day by day,nothing else was happening to me. But it is all ending in two weeks. I know I will be talking differently after few weeks staying in Czech republic,but now, the only one thing I want is to leave. I am getting really tired lately. I know that in my age I should not be tired, but I felt bad last few weeks. My body is tired I think. It is not easy to practice 6 houres a day plus gym and running. Normal practice in IMG is about 3 houres long,however I practice other 3 houres alone to get better and better than anybody else. How good am I? Not good enough, but I will be, I know it. I still have at least one more year left here in IMG. But I think I can say I am a good golfer, at least much better than about 9 months ago. Today I saw my swing on video, and believe or not, it finally looks like a golf swing. Seriously, my swing is pretty good, better than some swings on PGA tour. Two years ago, when I came here, I can say that I was deffinetely the worst golfer in IMG. But now, after two years of hard working on my technique and my mental I feel very confident. I think that in the end of the next year I will be able to shoot every time I play around par, and I believe I will become one of the best on this academy. Yes,you can say that it does not mean anything be the best on some academy. But this is the academy where the most talented and most hard working young people go in order to live their dreams. And I have a dream. Dream of becoming the best in the game of golf.

Anyways, this post should be about the finish,the end , not about golf and my silly dreams. I promise you Mr.Kennedy , as soon as I get home, the 30th of May, I will get drunk as hell :D. I know it is bit umproper to say that, but telling the truth is always the good thing. Seriously, I cannot wait to see my best friend, I cannot wait for all the girls around there, I cannot wait to play the big tournaments with the skills I learnt during this year.

It has been a pleasure to be in your class, I have changed my mind about your class. It became my most favorite class, although it is only class I will probably have B. It really does not matter at all because the important thing is that I learnt so much, and simply, your class has been really interesting.

There is still long way to go (14 days)

6.3 assigment , Martin Luther King

Martin Luther King will always be remembered as a one of the leaders of the American civil rights movement. He was the Baptist minister which was the one of the available function for the black people in that time because of racism. His famous speech ”I had a Dream” will never be forget. He is remebered as a one of the best orator in U.S. history. He was the youngest person in the world history who received Nobel Peace Prize because of what he did in segregation and racial discrimination. As it normally happens to good people who did something good for other people , he was assacinated on April 4. 1968 in Memphis, Tennesse. After he died, he received a Presidential Medal of Freedom by president Jimmy Carter and also in 2004 he was awarded a Congressional Gold Medal. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day became a national U.S. holiday. The world will never forget him because of what he did for society and especially for the black people.

And the winner is? Well,I do not know who is the winner. Who could it be? And what sport was it? Probably box. I can see a glove on their hands. Maybe it is Mike Tayson when he was really young. Probably not :)… So what was it? Oh, now I read on your page that it is from Olympics in Mexico City. Oh, my grandfather was competing there. Now I remember when he was talking about it. I think, but I am not sure, that Olympics after the Mexico City were in Munchen in Germany, and he was there as well. But I am not sure. Yeah , My grandfather was good athlete, not like me. I suck!

Anyways, it were probably very good Olympics. You can see on the picture how happy is the winner. He won, and history will never forget him. Does not matter what sport he was competing in. The imporant is that he won, and it will always be in our memories.

3. Photo… What is that?

Ha, Mr. Kennedy I have no idea what is on that picture. I am looking at it right now, but even though I am trying to think , I seriously do not know what it can be. Maybe it is an imagination of someone who took ectasy or LSD. He is having bad trip. He is really scared , he does not know what to do? What about all these people around? What are they doing there?

What is on the picture? That is a question. And I do not know the answer. I can see some car. Is it really car? And some guys around it very well dressed. One guy is falling on the ground. What happened to him? Is he dead? Did someone shoot him? Did he just slipped off? And what about the woman in the “car”? Why is she wearing pink clothes? Is she some Victoria Secret model with the paparrazzi around her?  God knows Mistr Kennedy, god knows.

John F.Kennedy

 

John F. Kennedy was the thirty-fifth President of the United States, and he was assassinated in 1963. He was really popular, people liked him so much because of what he did for USA. He graduated from Harvard University with a science degree. He was in Second World War and he was given command of a PT boat. After World War II he was elected as a president. He was elected as the youngest man in the history and the only one who was practicing Roman Catholic. Also he is the only president in U.S. history who won Pulitzer Prize. Even today people still rank him in a public opinion ratings of former U.S. president. Kennedy hated communism. He increased the number of soldiers in Vietnam from 800 to 16 300. There is still a question if Vietnam would be defeated if Kennedy was not assassinated. However he was killed, and American soldiers lost in Vietnam.  Nowedays, there is an airport in Florida called John F. Kennedy airport.

Oh, I know this picture. I read a story where was this picture. It is about a black girl who tries to attend normal high school for white people. Everybody there hates her. I think that it is all happening in Alabama but I am not sure. It is in one of the South state for sure. I remember that in the beginning of the story the family lived in one of the North state where there was no such a thing as a racism, however then they left to Alabama, and suddenely their life changed so much. Look at that picture. You can see how much the white people hated the black. They believed that black people should not go to school with the white people.

Anyway, the picture is about racism, about 40 years ago in USA when all white people could not stand the black people, and when black people could not attend normal public school for white.

6.1 assigment

Throughout the 1940s and 1950s politic view called  Mccartyishm when people in USA feared a  communism occurred. This period was similar to period of a Red Scare. During that time many people were accused of being a communist,and it destroyed their life. They lost their jobs, their careers. The most famous example of Mccarthyism was the Hollywood Blacklist. The statement “We will not knowingly employ a Communist or a member of any party or group which advocates the overthrow of the government of the United States” actually was the beginning of the Hollywood blacklist. Nobody really admit that the Black list existed. Books such as Red Channels were published in order to keep track of communists and leftish organizations and individuals.

There were many critics of various aspects of Mccarthyism. As the USA moved to mid fifties the attitudes and institutions of McCarthyism weakened. Since the time of McCarthy, the word “McCarthyism” entered American speech as term for a variety of distasteful practices.

So many people died during the World War II. On this picture we can see some houses which seem empty.Are they really empty? Where is everybody? Is everybody dead? Maybe, we do not know for sure. People in that time were in a really bad situtation. Everybody was dying, people in Europe did not have food to eat, almost every Jewish person was killed. It was a really bad time. Would you like to live in that time? I would not. I prefer this time,without World War. I do not understand why do people have to fight. It is just really bad,everybody dies during the wars. Just because of one lunatic, 20 milion people died. He was really crazy. I do not understand how can someone be so cruel. If there was no Hitler , there would probably not be a World War II. But it is over fortunatelly. We can just hope that there will be no more wars.

There are so many people on the Earth. Can you imagine 6.6 bilions people? I really cannot. Yesterday, I read an article about population of the Earth. Would you believe that about 50 thousands years ago there were only about 2 thousands people living on the Earth. Most of them lived in Africa where in that time was no water due to the hot weather. Everything was dry. It is really strange. Can you think about what will happen in future? When I think about it, I feel weird. The life on the Earth changed so much in last 100 years. Of course, you can argue that 100 years is a long long time,however, when you really think about it, it is actually not. Life on the earth in last 100 years changed so much. 100 years ago,there was no technology,and now what do we have? We have airoplanes, cars everywhere, underground, televisions which you can carry in your pocket, and many other things. It is really iteresting to think about that.

On this picture, you can see a guy arrested by policeman. What did he do? Did he kill someone? Was he a thief? Did he try to get money from the gass station? Was he a drug dealer? Maybe he was a drug dealer. What was he selling? I think he was selling heroin. It could also be LSD. God knows what he was selling. This photo is definitely was taken in USA.  Because who would think that drugs are sold in Europe? Nobody. Just in USA are drugs sold. Nowhere else. Did you know that in many countries of Europe it is allowed to smoke weed ? It is funny. You take a bus to school, and you see half of the people who go to school as well absolutelly high. They are just laughing, and they cannot even say sentence. Drugs are bad, nobody should  take it.
